IS YOUR WEBSITE SECURE?

Yes, please check the address bar on our checkout page. H.E.M.D. uses PayPal to process credit and debit card payments; any website that contains https is secure. (HTTPS) stand for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol; the ‘S’ at the end of HTTPS stands for ‘Secure’. It means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

H.E.M.D is a mobile unit serving Houston and surrounding areas. Our mobile units travel to our client’s home, work, or play.

WHAT IS MOBILE DETAILING?

Mobile detailing is the process of cleaning means of transportation. Mobile detailing eliminates the need for a physical business location. Our mobile units are fully equipped with everything you will find at a brick and mortar location.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS AND WHAT DAYS ARE YOU AVAILABLE?

Our hours are 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday thru Saturday

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO DETAIL MY VEHICLE?

Submit your vehicle information at H.E.M.D’s Appointment Page. Our detailing packages varies in price based on your vehicle type, vehicle condition, and selected package. You can view which services are included in each package at our Detail Package and Prices Page.

WILL THERE BE ADDITIONAL CHARGES?

Surcharges charges can apply for extremely soiled vehicle, excessive pet hair, mold/mildew, and human or animal bio waste. If your vehicle has one of these issues, your Mobile Technician will advise you of additional charges before the work begins. Surcharges are any where from 25-50% of the cost of the service package. Additional charges will also apply if you require services not specified in packages

HOW DO I PAY?

You can pay by cash or credit/debit card at the beginning/completion of mobile service on site. H.E.M.D.’s Mobile Unit Manager will conduct payment transactions. You can prepay online or over the phone. (Please be mindful that if you pay online additional charges may apply base on excessive soil etc…)

ARE TIPS REQUIRED?

Tips are always appreciated for outstanding service, but not mandatory. Our detailing packages are priced to provide a fair wage to our mobile technician and a fair value to clients.

HOW MUCH TIME DOES THE SERVICE TAKE?

Time needed for detailing services depends on the size/type of vehicle you have, the detailing service package requested, the number of mobile technicians, and the specific equipment available to the detailer. Following are approximate times for a single technician.

Standard Detailing Package — 45-60 minutes
Premium Detailing Package — 1-2 hours
Premium Deluxe Detailing Package — 2-3 hours
Master Detailing Package — 3-4 hours
Exterior Only — 1.5-2 hours
Master Interior Only — 1.5-2 hours
Headlight Restoration – 1.5 hours

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WAX MY VEHICLE?

H.E.M.D. generally recommends 3-4 times per year minimum for good protection.
Now, if you desire showroom dazzle, then we recommend waxing or polishing often.
waxing your vehicle does many things:
1. Protects your investment from the sun and weather.
3. Helps minimize scratching and swirl marks.
4. Makes it easier to remove bugs, sap and other harmful contaminants.
5. Reduces hard water spotting.
6. Best of all, waxing makes it easier to keep your investment clean!

WHAT IF I’M NOT SATISFIED WITH THE DETAIL?

We stand behind our work! H.E.M.D. is driven to not only meet but exceed your expectations on every detail! Our priority is to ensure each and every detail is done correctly and every client walks away satisfied. We encourage you to look over the vehicle ensuring that the detailing service is done to your standards. H.E.M.D.’s Mobile Technician will be obliged to correct anything you may see.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT?

E.M.D. is equipped to work in unfavorable weather, but if the weather is bad the day of your appointment and you are having an exterior service done, we can always reschedule. If you are only having an interior detailing service, we can still do the detail provided location is conducive for performing services.

WHAT’S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

H.E.M.D. has a 48-hour cancellation policy, if you cancel within 48 hours you’ll have no cancellation charges.  If the weather is unfavorable the day of your appointment or you need to reschedule for a future date you won’t be charged any cancellation fees as long as you reschedule the appointment. We want to make sure everyone gets a fair chance to have their vehicle detailed on a day and time that works best for them and that’s why we have this policy.
